The redesigned Task Manager, initially introduced in build 22538, has been refined and publicly rolled out to a subset of users.The Storage Usage button in the Properties dialog for a disk has been updated to now be called Details and a little wider, to accommodate for languages where the button text was getting truncated. ![]() This feature is not available for files stored in OneDrive folders.Microsoft Office Outlook Desktop Integration is required to enable this feature.The ability to compose an email message directly within the share window without starting Outlook has been added.The ability to show previews of items within folders, which had been absent since the original release of Windows 11, has been re-implemented.An OneDrive button has been added to the command bar to show OneDrive's sync status and quota usage when browsing OneDrive folders.Pinned and recent files from Microsoft Office's online server will be shown in Quick Access if Windows is logged into a Microsoft account or a work/education account.The "Pin to Quick Access" feature has been extended to support files, which will be shown in a new section named "Pinned files" above Recent files in Quick Access.This feature is currently only available in the English (United States) language.This feature can be activated by pressing ⊞ Win+ Ctrl+ K. ![]() New features and changes Live captions Ī new feature named "live captions" has been added for automatically captioning videos and spoken audio playing on the device.
